A rat ate holes in several rubber elbows in our washer
I got the three rubber elbows to quickly (at an additional price). They were the correct part and fit exactly. I replaced the aggravating spring clamps with new radiator-type screw clamps which made the job easier and in my opinion better. Then I devised a little hardware cloth "fence" around the bottom to the washer to keep the rat ou
... Read moret. The job is tough enough in that you must tip the washer forward to get at the lower elbows. Also probably a good idea to adjust the feet "in" as far as possible to minimize rodent access from the bottom.
my daughters ferret chewed little pinholes in the pump hoses
two small compression clamps hold the hoses in place. these are very simple to remove, however to reinstall the new hoses you should unscrew the pumps with a nut driver, secure the hoses with the clamps, and then screw the pump back to the bottom of the drum. oh yeah make sure to put the back plate back on the machine

My washing machine is leaking out of the bottom of the cabinet. How do I access this to determine what the problem is and fix it?
For model number WTW8200YW0
Hi Kriste, Thank you for the question. You will need to pull the appliance out from the wall and tip it back or remove the front and side cabinet panels. There are screws at the back of the appliance that hold the panels in place. Hope this helps!

Hi we have water leaking from the bottom. How do you know whether its the hose or the actual pump that needs replacing?
For model number Whirlpool Washing Machine Model WTW8200YW0
Hello Sandra, Thank you for your inquiry. You can visually examine both parts for any visible damage or restrictions, and you can test the drain pump with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, we have videos available to assist you. We hope this helps you.

Whirlpool cabrio platinum leaking from under neath at front left corner.Just ordered a new drain pump and going to replace that. Also gives UL code when trying to spin.Going to replace suspension rods.Any other suggestions that would give a UL code?
For model number WTW8500BC0
Hi Kim, thank you for contacting us. The UL error code indicates that the load is out of balance. We would recommend checking that the load is properly balanced. The issue is most probably with the suspension rods, part number PS3502193. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!
