The door handle on my unit broke away from the door. The handle remains intact but the top door trim (piece #7 in diagram) needs to be replaced. Do the screws (piece # 10 in diagram) go through the top door trim and thread into the door handle? Thanks.

Thank you for your question. Yes, usually the screws that hold the handle to the appliance actually go through the top trim as well and they sandwich everything together. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Hi Soledad, thank you for reaching out. Here are some general instructions to install the top door trim. Unplug the range. Open the door completely and unlock the locking tabs of the hinges. Close the door halfway and take out the door. Remove the screws on the top panel and take off the handle. Then install the top door trim. We hope this helps!
