I initially had an issue with my washing machine where I heard a buzzing sound and the machine stopped at the spin cycle. I replaced the lid switch and the machine has worked for five days without incident. Today I heard the buzzing sound and the machine stopped during wash cycle. I tried resetting the machine by selecting another function on the control dial. Finally after four attempts the machine started working and washed the clothes. Could the quick connect timer be malfunctioning?
Hello Ricky,
Thanks for your question. This could also be due to a clog in the drain pump. This can vary from model to model but it may be worth examining the pump and testing it for continuity with a multimeter, and replacing it if it fails continuity.
I hope this helps.

The timer will not advance past the wash cycle to drain water. Is the part listed the fix for this issue?
For model number LSR7133KQ0
Hello Chris,
Thanks for your question. You may want to test your lid switch with a multimeter to test it for continuity and replace it if it does not show continuity. If that part is intact, try the water level switch as well as the water pump and the water inlet valve. If all of these parts test well, consider replacing the timer.
I hope this helps.
