How do you dissemble the dryer to replace the lint duct trap?

Trap Duct Assembly (PS# PS11736615 or MFG # WED1X25335) What are the two metal wires (rods) used for, their about 5 to 6 inches long and are on the inside of the assembly. Mine our damaged.

Hello Larry, thank you for your inquiry. The metal wires you are referring to are the moisture sensor bars, which detect the amount of moisture in the laundry load.
