When i set my dryer to times heat the dryer doesn’t stop. Example: I set it for 60 minutes, come back 30 minutes later and it still says 60 min on the timer. This seem like it’s the part but wanted to confirm before i purchased it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hello Sean, thank you for your question. The timer is one of the parts that could be the issue. We would recommend testing two thermostats before replacing the timer as the thermostast help the timer advance through the cycles. Those thermostats are Dryer Cycling Thermostat Part Number: PS11741405 and Thermal Cut-Off Fuse Kit PartSelect Number: PS12070444. If those parts are tested and are fine, the timer is the most likely issue. I hope this helps.
