Does not heat

Hi Joe, Thank you for the question. No heat can mean a few things. I suggest testing the Thermal Fuse,It must be replaced when there is no longer continuity between the terminals. If the fuse is good you can test the m-series coils, your thermostats, and your radiant flame sensor.Hope this helps!

My gas dryer went from consistent heat to taking 3 cycles to dry clothes in a matter of days? What parts do I check first? Replace?
For model number WGD5600SQ0

Hi Rhonda, Thank you for the question. I suggest testing the Internal-Bias,Thermostat, PartSelect Number PS11741405.A cycling thermostat is in tune with the temperature of your dryer and regulates it in order to maintain a certain temperature. Hope this helps!

I just received the gas burner assy. Do i really need the lp converter kit - 49572 ? There is a label on the assy that states that i do. In the partselect website info, i did not read any information that informed me of a conversion kit being needed for lp / butane gas conversion . On the part diagram it is states, use with type 1 - natural and type 4 liquefied propane and butane gases. There is no mention of the conversion kit. Everything looks good on the assy. Thank you for that. Signed, moma needs her dryer, or i'm in the garage.

Hi John, Thank you for your question. All range parts are designed for natural gas stoves. If you have LP just make sure to take the orifice from your old part and put it on the new part. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

I have replaced the following due to Dryers inconsistent heat. Igniter Kit Thermal Fuse Radiant Flame Sensor Dryer Cycling Thermostat Looking thru the inspection hole in the front I still do not see the igniter coming on ?? Please advise
For model number 110.71202012

Hi Dwayne, thank you for the question. Since you have replaced most of the common parts, you may need to check the valve coil kit, part number PS11752967. This part opens the gas valves while the dryer is running. If it is faulty, you may need to replace it. Let us know if you have further questions!

Whirlpool dryer WGD8500DC4. It takes 2 attempts of the igniter to light the gas. This only happens the first time the dryer is started for the day. It does work fine after that. I have replaced the ignitor, flame sensor, and valve coils. Sometimes you can smell gas in the outside exhaust. Dryer is 4 years old and just started this problem 6 months ago

Hello Frank, thank you for the question. Since you have already replaced most of the common parts responsible for causing this issue, the problem would most likely be in the gas valve assembly, part number PS11748548, itself. We hope this solves your problem!
