Control lock comes on by itself locking out the functions. Would this part fix that?

Hi James, thank you for your question. If the function is coming on by itself, then the problem may more likely be in your control board, which is a part that I have linked down below for you. It could be this part however you generally have to press and hold a couple of buttons at once to lock the panel and it is more unlikely that both buttons are stuck unless a user actually over used bother buttons at the same time.
