Water leaking from bottom of Dishwasher
Replaced old gasket with new one. More difficult than expected, because new gasket was much stiffer than old one. Also, the yellow centering spot on gasket (to line up with top latch) was nearly impossible to see. Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem for me, so money was wasted. Bought new dishwasher.

Dishwasher door was leaking at bottom.
When new gasket arrived almost two weeks after it was sent out from Green Bay, I took out old gasket, marking which side was in and which out.
Then, with hands, fit new gasket in place making sure it was centered.
No leaking; it worked.
Thanks.

leaking from somewhere around tub
the actual gasket tub seal was easy, 10 minutes. The trim tub gaskets were a pain because I had to uninstall the dishwasher (not plumbing or electrical) then pull it out from the cabinet, remove old trim and re-install. Re-leveled dishwasher, screwed into side of cabinets but it still leaks. Can't figure out where but after replacing all the trim and gaskets its very frustrating.

Dishwasher tub was leaking
Simply removed old gasket by hand, lined up center of new gasket (white dot was printed on the center of new gasket) with the tub latch and pressed new gasket into place. We have used the dishwasher about a dozen times since and hasn't leaked a drop.

Dishwasher leaking from the bottom of the door.
Process of elimination and a visit to my local repair store told me it was wise to try the tub gasket, and according to partselect.com, it solved the problem a majority of the time. My local repair dealer agreed: Try it. They agreed because for them to replace a lower door gasket AND the $10 tub gasket... if they came out, the service call and parts would equal half the cost to replace the whole dishwasher. So I bought a tub gasket from partselect.com and replaced the old one. It worked, it was easy, so if your same make & model is leaking? Try it first. That's my advice.

Does the tub gasket cover the whole way around the door? Including the bottom?
For model number GDT695SFL3DS
PartSelect logo
Hi Nancy, Thank you for your question. This gasket will go along the top and the sides of the dishwasher. The part number listed under your model number for the tub gasket is WD08X23477. The bottom gasket for the door, would be part of the inner lining of the door, part number WD31X22821. If you need the lining, it has been discontinued by GE and you will need to contact them for information on a replacement part. Their telephone number is 1-800-626-2005. If they provide you with a part number for the replacement part, you may call us back with it and we can verify if we have it available for you. You may also be able to locate the part you need by trying the following: Using a search engine to type your part number and see if other retailers still have this part in stock. Visiting online stores such as eBay and finding sellers that have this part. Trying retailers and repair stores in your local area to see if they have the part in their inventory. Talking to a local repair technician, who may have the part you need, or may be able to repair your existing part. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My dishwasher is leaking water in the front at the bottom of the door when it is filling with water. When i feel behind the bottom of the door there is a cable there and i can feel the water running out at that location. Any idea what could be causing that and what part might need to be replaced? It just started doing it.

Hi Nick, Thank you for your question. I would say first check to make sure your appliance is all level and correctly attached to your cabinet walls. Sometimes when the appliance is out of level the spray arms will spray water against a part of the door where they are not supposed to and that will make it leak. You may want to take a look and test your float switch. Make sure it is not letting too much water fill your tub as well. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

6 year old GE Profile dishwasher. small leak on floor (about 1/2 cup). Door gasket all looks fine. But at the corners there are what appear to be separate parts that look like a small 4 inch barrier at each end of the door gasket. One side is deformed as if squashed by the bottom of the door. The other side appears to be slightly out of place. The bottom door gasket is extensively soiled with soap/food residue. Looks like grease trap. What part might fix this?

My dishwasher door keep getting blocked by this foam (soft and white, like the rest of the dishwasher surround stuff) pad that has a hard rubber base falling. It seems to have been glued to the stainless steel tub. I can't find it in any of the diagrams. It is on the dishwasher body itself and the door folds just outside of it when it is opened. It is always getting wet so i'm assuming i need to replace the gasket also.
