The bridge element stays on

Hi Ronnie,
Thank you for your question. I would suggest testing your element and your switch to see which one of those parts are not working. Your element should test anywhere between 0 - 120 ohms to be working. When testing your switch, make sure it is removed from your appliance. Turn it to the on position. If your meter does not change at all when testing, your switch is broken and will need to be replaced. Good luck with your repair.
