How do I measure the sawing chain? Do i measure the whole circumference, from one end to the other, or do i measure the length while both sides are together, (which would give me 1/2 the length of the circumference)?

Thank you for your question. The way to measure your chainsaw chain is by the DL, or Driver Links. Count how many driver links are on your current chain, and that will be the number of links that you will need on any new chain. You should also know the pitch and gauge of your chain as well. One most chainsaws the measurements are on the bar of your chainsaw near the body. I hope this helps. Good luck.
