Light switch broken on inside of refrigerator door
The light switch was accidentally broken. I looked it up on your site and found the part. I ordered it and switched it out in a matter of minutes. It also helped having people who purchased their switches from the site explain how they repaired their switches with relative ease.

water flow at door was very very slow
normally low water flow would indicate filter change. however i changed filter two months ago. using the wonderful information available on this website, figured i'd try changing the water filter head with tubing, as it seemed that water flow w/o filter, although substantially better than with filter, might be low. unfortunately changing water filter head didn't solve problem. it was the bloody filter after all! however the repair went well, the correct part arrived in a timely fashion, and over the course of time i think that the spring mechanism inside the filter head had weakened and was not making as solid as contact as when new. so it was i feel a worthwhile repair as water flow is now awesome with new filter in place. thanks guys for your great website. you are making the world a better place!

Our GE Monogram's freezer and flood locker compartments were too cold
This website is awesome! It basically tells you exactly what is wrong with your fridge. Our food side of the refrigerator was getting way too cold. Some items actually froze. I looked here and it said the fan/ damper assembly was broken. All I did was remove the part they said was broken and sure enough the little damper door that lets freezer air into the fridge side was broken. I ordered the part, replaced it and presto the refrigerator holds perfect temperature again! The replacement was super easy...only tool needed was a screwdriver and 15minutes! Thanks
