WDP350PAAB2 Whirlpool Dishwasher - Instructions

Using a Torx screwdriver, I removed the fasteners holding the control panel/latch section of the door on the dishwasher. I tested the high limit thermostat with a multimeter. Just two terminals, one being power in, the other power out. The part had what I have heard call a "high resistance open". In other words, the power was not getting from "A" to "B". Power in - not out. After cutting power to the unit, I removed the part (just pull it out of the retaining clip and pull the terminals from the part). After receiving the part...by the way, really fast delivery...I reconnected the part (it doesn't matter which wire goes where), pushed the part back into the retaining clip, replaced and fastened the control panel, then restored power to the unit. Runs like new.

Shut off water,power. disconnect water line,electric,drain.Pulled dishwasher out,laid dishwasher on it's back.Unplugged electric on pump,twisted pump out.Installed new pump and reinstalled dishwasher.

it was just a matter of snapping the new assembly in place.

I first purchased the door assembly because the solenoid was fried. That was a fairly easy installation. Unfortunately the door still didn't open. I then purchased a new Electronic Control Board. The installation was again fairly easy. After killing the power I removed the (10) Torx door fascia screws. Then I removed (2) Torx screws holding the control assembly on. Support this assembly to reduce strain on the wires. Slip the two tabs on the left side of the board that retains it. Carefully remove all of the plug connectors. Then reverse the entire procedure and test.

I knew I needed a faucet adapter, but thought I could just go to my local home depot and get the part...not so much. After 3 trips and not getting the part I truly needed I ordered the part from partselect. I received it literally the day after I ordered it, screwed in place with no tools, attached the coupler/hoses to the faucet and washed dishes. I wish I would have ordered the part from partselect before even bother with home depot. I would have saved myself a lot of trouble! Extremely happy! Thank you!

Followed the instruction that you provided with the part and har no problem. Took about 45 minutes

I replaced the old one with a new 75.00 part with no problem. However, when I looked at the old part I saw that the problem was simply the spring that opens the door was sprung. It just needed to be adjusted. That took a little more time to fix than the replacement job but had I known this before, I could have saved myself some cash. BTW that spring is attached to the hinge on the door. IMHO it needs to be a little beefier so as not to fail.

Disconnected the power. Removed the dishwasher mount screws from under the counter. Slid the Dishwasher out. Removed the two wires. Loosened and removed the two heater support nuts. Removed the heater element from inside the dishwasher. Placed the new heater element inside. Tightened the nuts. Attached the wires. Pushed the dishwasher back in place. Replaced the under-counter support screws. Reset the diagnostics message on the dishwasher front panel (This may not be necessary for some) - (Press HI TEMP > AIR DRY > HI TEMP > AIR DRY). Pulled the dishwasher out, removed 2 wires and 2 plastic nuts, removed old heating element, installed new heating element, applied nuts, connected 2 wires pushed the dishwasher back in, drank beer (Per instructions on email - really liked).
