Burnt out baking element
My husband and I removed the burnt baking element. Then, I unplugged the range and removed the screws on the back panel of the oven. Secondly, the new element was placed in the oven and the electrical cords were connected. The only problem that I had was trying to place a safety bracket on one of the electrical wires. I did not have the correct type of backet so I used electrical taped to avoid and electrical discharge from occurring. I feel this is the reason the old baking element caught on fire. It was only two years old. We rent and the range is part of the appliances in the house. The oven is working very well.

Burnt out Bake Element
I removed two screws holding the Bake Element. Pulled out the Bake Element then replaced with the new one. Needless to say that I disconnected power to the unit prior to taking any action.
I was extremely impressed with Part Select easy on-line ordering system and expeditious delivery of the part.

I had a difficult time removing the second screw from the original bake element
The problem that I encountered with changing the bake element had nothing to do with the part I ordered.
The bake element that originally came with the oven had never been replaced before. I removed the right screw easily, but I had to work a little harder to reomove the left screw. Once I got it out, inserting the new bake element was a breeze. I just watched the video and everything was explained well. If I hadn't run into the problem with the second screw, this could have been done in 15 minutes or less.
The oven works even better than before! The part was shipped out quickly after I ordered it.
We are satisfied so far, with partselect, and will definitely keep them in mind if we are looking for the right part and fast service.

previous element burned out
First I pulled the oven away from the wall. Then I unplugged the cord from the wall. I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. I took the old element out and then put the new element in and connected the two wires.I pushed the elements back into place. I reconnected the power cord to the wall and pushed the oven back in place. It was quick and easy.

bake element burned out
The bake element burnt out so i replaced it which went really easy a couple of screw and two wires. Then it still wouldn't work, so i purchased an electronic oven control and replaced that just some screws and flipping over wires and a wire harness now all is well and only spent $180 which is far less than a new oven.

baking element burned into
I watched the video on your website, unplugged stove, unscrewed 2 screws that held the clasp on the element, pulled the wiring towards me a few inches, unplugged the part from the wiring, plugged new part in, put 2 screws back in and I was baking that night!! So proud of myself since they wanted 161.35 to come fix it from an appliance repair. 100.00 to come and do it, and 61.00 for the part. A friend at work has purchased from your site and gave me the information. I paid 29.00 plus shipping, it was at my door by the 2nd day..so about 36.00 and it was DONE.. I COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW EASY AND I AM A SINGLE WOMAN..and would have been so MAD if I had wasted my money and that was all there was to fixing it..YOUR VIDEO was GREAT!!!
