burned out element
my son-in- law fixed my oven for me and it still didn't heat

it was really funny. after futher investigation he found it was a 15 cent wire burnt into and not the element at all.

well, for sure i am no range tech and neither is my son-in-law,oh well if i ever need a element i sure do have. i think i will just keep it.

Baking Element needed to be replaced
First get in touch with the sales staff at PartSelect with your stove's brand and model number to make sure the part you need is available. With my experience with Part Select I am sure they will help. Get easy payment and shipment information for the part and wait for just a few days but if you like you can have it shipped overnight...when you receive your your part first UNPLUG THE STOVE...remove oven racks to access the baking element...use nutdriver to remove nuts that hold the element to the rear of your oven...slowly take the element and pull it forward enough to disconnect the two wires that attach the element to it's power source...bend wires upward when disconnected to ensure wires do not fall back into the stove frame...take the new element that PartSelect was able to get you and attach your wires to the end of your new element...slowly feed your wires back into the frame...use your nutdriver and secure the element to the back of your stove...place oven racks back...plug the stove back in and your ready to bake whatever you desire...Thanks PartSelect

looked on your web site and it suggested that 98 percent of the time a new element would fix the problem ...i ordered and in 2 days on had the element and put it the oven..all it took was a nut driver to loosen the screws and unplug each end ...took the new element and plugged to the ends of the element and presto it works fine..turn oven
up to 350degrees waited un til pre heat light went out..let it burn for 15 mins and turn off oven...been working ever since just fine..excellent shipping on parts

Baking Element blew in Oven
4 days before christmas eve, I was cooking dinner, I heard a pop and the oven was glowing. The bottom element blew, I had 10 people coming over for christmas eve dinner. I thought I was going to have to buy a new oven so I got on google and found Part Select, for under 50.00 and that was with 2 to 3 days shipping, my part came in on thursday. My husband and brother had my oven fixed around 20 mins. All I can say is Thank God for Part Select, you can not find any other place that will come through like Part Select. Thank you for saving my Christmas Dinner!!!

the element melted in the oven
I was scared to do this by myself after seeing the white hot glowing element melt in the oven. I watched the instruction video on the website a few times before I ever ordered the part. I took a deep breath when I saw the box on the porch. It took me longer to find a flashlight (a working one) and a set of pliers then it took to replace the baking element. The video was helpful and incourgaged me to DIY. Thank you.

Heating element went out right before Christmas
I called a few places repair. Prices ranged from 90 to 150 for parts and labor. I am not the most savy person out there, researched online for the actual part as i felt i was being overcharged. I looked at the most obvious places such as Lowes and sears, however i landed at partselect.com. i was taken back by the savings, half the price of competing sites.

In addition, the installation videos were easy to follow. My wife did not think i could do it, after about 15 minutes i was done and back in business. Saved Christmas for me as this was the year for me to host for both my immediate and extended family. Thank you very much, in the future i will definately use the site and i have recomemnded partselect to family and friends.

The bake element failed and stove would not heat.
Removed two hexhead screws and disconnected two electric leads to remove the broken part. Did the reverse to install the new part. The whole job took 10 minutes. It could have not been easier.
