Got the wrong part.......NEVER got an answer to my 3 emails to customer service to find the correct part
I ordered the wrong part....needed their help to locate the correct part. Sent 3 emails asking for help to the 'customer service' email ----NEVER heard a word!!!......and now they want me to rate the installation ?! Horrible customer service
Getting to the part at the bottom of the dishwasher was a little pain.
Everything went great installing the new drain pump. Our dishwasher works like it’s brand new again. I would recommend part select to anyone that needs to repair their dishwasher parts or any applications parts.
When loaded, the lower rack would fall off the rails
The problem and solution were described on the internet. I ordered a set of 4 wheels for $43+. I received one wheel. When I called Drew told me that the order was correct, but the description on the web page was wrong. He was to sent me a return label, but it has not arrived. Since then I went to the Bosch website, found the set of wheels (Part 10016657) for $42. They have been installed and the problem seems to have been fixed.
Remove lower panel TURN OFF POWER AT BREAKER Remove water line Remove the screws on bottom left of washer to remove solenoid valve Pull out solenoid valve carefully there is a wire plugged into it, far enough to remove clamp on the hose Remove valve far enough to disconnect wire Order correct valve assembly Reinstall in reverse order
shut off water, pull dishwasher out, took side insulation off, unhooked what was connected to the float switch and replaced the new with the old. Reconnected everything and put insulation back and wa-la , all done
First turn off power source. Remove screws on each side of door, than remoe the door by pulling on the bottom once the door is off remove screws on inside top and the four scres that hole the facia in place these screws are under the door that you removed. then lift off the facia. remoe the push buttons and insert in the new part. be sure they are snap in place. than replace the facia be sure to align the part so it fits properly. install the screws to hold part in place then the screws on the top inside of door. once complete install the screwqs down each side of the door. turn power on. you should have completed the job.
The video pretty much showed it all except...if you have a custom panel on the front like ours did. In that case, yiu have to remove the torx screws along the top PLUS to extras in the side of the part that protrudes into the tub of the washer. Those two are key to releasing the front panel and are also held in with fairly flimsy spring steel so be careful. Otherwise, pretty easy to do.
