Diagnostic - no ice - no codes on door, the ice button is not off on the door. Just quit working. Heard there is a reset button for the ice-maker, cannot find one. help?
For model number RS22HDHPNBC
Hi Michael,
Thank you for your question. There should be a blue button on the ice maker. If you press that, that should reset it. If this does not help, you will need to check the ice maker, the water inlet valve, the water filter and the water tubing. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.
Ice not freezing causing ice maker not to work. Frig ok . Unplugged and thawed plugged back worked fine and ice maker working .2 weeks later freezer/ ice maker not working again same issue
For model number RS22HDHPNBC
Hi Karen,
Thank you for your question. If the ice is not freezing, check the temperature settings and make sure that they are set correctly. If the temperature in your freezer is set correctly, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check evaporator fan motor, the electronic control board, the temperature sensors, the compressor overload protector and the electronic control board. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair! We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!
