REX3514PQ0 Roper Dryer - Instructions

Took back panel off. Did not have a clue! Went to Partselect Web site,entered my problem,BAM! instant solution.Watched repair video and was surprised how simple repair looked.Heck I can do this,no problem! I work from 7 A.M. to 5 P.M. so theres no chance to stop by local appliance part store before they close. Ordered my parts from Partsselect,arrived in just two days. Followed video instructions ,completed job in thirty minutes or less! I also got important information regarding maintenance and cleaning dryer to prevent fire hazard.Thanks,for help and saving me time and money.When I have a problem in the future I now know where to go.

Only difficulty, was pulling the stove out of the cabinet, it is a drop in stove, we had to pull it out to open the top. Repair then was easy

removed the screws from the back panel, located the heating element, disconnected the wires (make sure you look which ones are connected to which-I think there are 3), pulled out the old element, put in the new element, reconnected the wires, closed back cover and screwed shut. Worked great. Very easy to repair.

Put new heater in also new thermal fuse. Watched the vidio about install, video longer than repair bryon

actually your site was very helpful in describing each part that i chose to replace. one helpful hint to someone when installing the dryer pulley is to use the parts box to hold up the drum when installing.it seemed to be the perfect size. great site!

I ordered the part. Took the old one off in less than 30 mins. Saw where the wires were on the oldheatting coil. And put the new one back the same way I pulled out the oldunit and plugged up the wires the same way thy were that was it. Less than 30 mins tops. Saved me a lot of money.

Hardest part was moving the machine from small washroom to a spot where I could work on it. Very easy installation if you watch the video. The new heating element slides right in and then just re attach the wiring. Good idea also to clean out the exhaust pipe vents while it is available.

The dryer would make a loud humming noise and the seize up. I would reset the breaker and the dryer would run briefly and then seize up. I opened the dryer and cleaned out all the lint on the motor but it did not help. I spun the motor shaft and felt like a bearing inside had failed. I watched Steve in the video-he was awesome and made it all simple- and ordered the correct parts. I decided to replace the rollers, belt, and pulley as well as the motor. The repair is very easy-and worth it- EXCEPT one piece of advice. BUY the blower fan that attaches to the motor. Mine did not come off easily like in the video. The plastic shaft deteriorated under pressure from the wrench. I was forced to use a heat gun to melt/then cut the blower fan from the motor. It was not easy but don't let it deter you from the repair. I used a table vice but never could remove the remanents of the blower fan shaft from the motor. The repair was a snap after that. Great site for parts and help.

I took the old element off and put the new one on

I watched the VIDEO provided by THIS parts supplier, and I never before had repaired a DRYER.However, after viewing just how SIMPLE it would be to replace the dryer elements and exactly what was involved,, I felt CONFIDENT I could do the repair myself! ?The repair part arrived QUICKLY,, and the very same evening I performed the necessary repair,,, took all of about 30 minutes!! WE are BOTH very pleased her dryer works now like BRAND NEW and for such a nominal price!! THANKS Parts Select for being a fantastic company with a GREAT,, easy-to-use website!

Removed top, removed front, laid dryer on back to keep drum in place and replaced belt. Used masking to hold new belt in place while installing. Easy job. Belt was delivered in 2 days. Thanks

Me and my teenage daughter unplugged the machine and pulled it out. We removed the back panel. My four year old daughter held the flashlight while I worked and my teen provided directions from the instructional video we found on the site. We removed the two screws from the heating unit and removed the thermostat. We attached the thermostat to the new heating element. Put the heating element in place. We plugged the machine in and started it. We were jumping with joy when the coils began to glow. We waited for it to cool, screwed the heating element in place and replaced the back panel. My husband's jaw is still in the floor----girl power!!

We followed instructions in videos from this site and youtube. The repair went smoothly and dryer works great now.

Broken belt, but went with the mainentance kit since it was going to be all apart anyway. Found the job easy to do and the new belt idler was a big improvement over the old style. /also came with instructions. Good for another 5-10 years.
