PFSS6PKWBSS General Electric Refrigerator - Instructions

TOOLS NEEDED ARE A #2 PHILLIPS, A FLAT TIP SCREWDRIVER AND SOAP AND WATER FOR CLEANING OF THE VEGETABLE PAN COVER.

1. REMOVE BOTH VEGETABLE PANS.
2. REMOVE THE VEGETABLE PAN COVER BY SLIDING IT FORWARD ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO LIFT IT UP AND OUT.
3. USING THE PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER REMOVE THE 2 SCREWS HOLDING THE RAIL TO THE CASE.
4. IF THE REAR PART OF THE RAIL IS BROKED OFF AND STILL IN THE WALL OF THE FRIDGE (LIKE MINE WAS) REMOVE IT WITH THE FLAT TIP SCREWDRIVER BY PRYING IT OUT OF THE SQUARE HOLE . USE SOME PRESSURE IF NEEDED.
5. INSERT THE REAR PART OF THE RAIL (LOOKS LIKE A LANCE) AND PUSH IT IN ALL THE WAY TILL IT STOPS.
6. THE PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER ANCHOR THE RAIL TO THE WALL OF THE FRIDGE FIRMLY, NOT TOO TIGHT.
7. USING THE SOAP AND WATER, CLEAN INSIDE OF THE FRIDGE AND ALL PARTS REMOVED.
8. LAY THE VEGETABLE PAN COVER ON TOP OF THE RAILS AND SLIDE IT BACK TO LOCK IN PLACE.
9. INSTALL THE VEGETABLE PANS.
10. WORKED FINE, LOOKS FINE AND LASTS A LONG TIME.

Take top two drawers out and install the flip up cover in it's spot , then use the screw driver and pry it flip cover, into the groove.

We didn't think the dispenser problem was related to the filter - we were wrong! It took less than two minutes, including opening the box and unwrapping the filter. Turned the old filter loose, removed the adapter from it, put the adapter on the new filter and turned the new filter back into place.

Just turn the cartilage out and put the new one. Very simple

Lifted out the broken part and replaced with new spring.

it was easy. Open the fridge,untwist the old filter. Open the new filter, fill with tap water and twist in place. Run water through it for a few minutes to insure it is working and filters the water.

Removed clear cover from old frame with screwdriver and replaced it on new frame. I had no problems and everything looks and works good. Took about 10 minutes. Easy job.

I watched the video, and noticed that they did not even turn off the water. The replacement took less than 30 seconds once the filter was filled with water.
