In my previous question about loud clicking noise during spin cycle you recommended replacing the break rotor ps2347192 but the parts list show it as no longer available? Also i am not sure it is a break problem as at the end of the spin cycle the drum stops very quickly without any noise.

Hello Robert, thank you for your question. Yes, we apologize, the rotor has been discontinued for this unit. The brake and rotor assembly stop the tub and help to aid in the changing to and from agitation and spin. If the clicking noise is just when the spin cycle is going we would recommend checking the Transmission Pulley and Bearing Kit PartSelect Number: PS2003651 and the Lower Bearing Assembly PartSelect Number: PS2003141. I hope this helps!

Our Maytag washer makes a loud clicking sound when speeding up during the spin cycle. It takes a long time to come up to full speed especially when the load is large. The water appears to be pumpin out normally. The drum may also be ocillating abnormally (dont know what normal shaking looks like).

I used a flat screw driver to push in on the releases so I could raise the top of the machine. I then used a torx tool to remove both parts of the hinge, and then used a #2 phillips screw driver, on the new screws I'd also ordered, to re-attach both of the hinge parts. Every thing went just as anticipated.
The pump is located behind a small panel on the back, lower left side of my washer. It's attached to the bottom frame with 3 screws. It has two hoses attached, each with one spring clamp. Lift one side of the washer and slip the drive belt off the pully. Release the spring clamps on the hoses with a pair of pliers and remove the hoses. A

Hold the belt in one hand and turn the drum pulley clockwise with the other and the belt will follow and install. reverse steps to reassemble.
