Grinding noisy and leaking water.
Pulled motor out replace bearings cleaned up then installed the seals as discribed in your website. This is something my repairman didnt want to do. Only cost me the 50 dollars and a few hours with my brother. LOVE your website. It makes it alot easier to fix and saves me alot of money. Thank you. Debra

Door kept popping open during cycle
Repairman replaced the control panel, but that didn't solve the problem. I googled it and found the partsselect video showing how this could be the problem. I decided the $25 part was worth the chance. The part showed-up in a couple days, I replaced it just like in the video, and have been running the dishwasher ever since w/ no problems. Saved me approximately $1,000 and the hassle of installing a new dishwasher.

One of the strings wore over time causing a lack of tension when opening the door.
Other than having to disconnect the water line from the supply (because it did not have sufficient length to fully pull the dishwasher from uner the counter), this job was quite simple. The originals parts were easy to disconnect and simply replaced with the new parts. What was most impressive was that I ordered the parts online on a Sunday evening and the parts were delivered to my door by noon on Tuesday.

did not clean. got a hum from the pump/ motor area.
At first I thought something was jammed in the impeller, so I took it completely apart(gutted it). Put it back together and still the same. thought it could be the control panel or maybe the door switch. changed the door switch with a new from PartSelect and still the same.Took it apart again this time checked the motor and sure enough it was frozen.Took impeller off only to find motor shaft was corroded from water damage mechanical seal must have leaked. BAD quality control also found a loose rubber washer in the motor housing and the door handle hinge was broke in half. I'm sure it was shipped this way. Thanks for the speedy delivery and fair pricing. Chris

Pulley bracket on left side broke after someone bumped into the open door.
There is a video associated with this part provided by partselect.com and I followed it exactly. It is very easy to follow but I should say this is the third time I have had to repair this part. It is plastic and breaks easily.

Door Balance broke and would drop w/o tension
I followed the video instructions, turned off power, disconnected the water and disposal connections, disconnected the under-counter and kickplate mounts and pulled out the dishwasher. I used towels to catch any excess water from the disconnected water lines, and removed the broken door balance. The "cable" broke and technically could have just replaced the sing part, but decided to replace the entire mechanism. Since I did not pull the dishwasher out the whole way, having a flashlight was helpful to look at the spring and make sure it was properly attached to the frame as I connected the cable to it. I slid the unit back in, reconnected the water/disposal lines, kickplate and counter mounts, and turned on the power. Worked perfect.

Dishes were not cleaning.
One of the upper rack wheels mounting pegs broke off and fell into the chopper assembly which broke it. It took about 1 hour to figure out how the dishwasher comes apart. The assembly is under the protector cover assembly. To get to this you need a TORX screwdriver. The feed tube assembly is held on by two clips. Rotate it clockwise to free if from the accumulator assembly. Four screws remove this cover and one more screw takes off the protector cover. You remove this cover by lifting it straight up. The whole assembly needed to be cleaned from food particles. It was difficult inserting the new chopper assembly. After a few tries , it finally fit. Putting it back together took only 30 minutes. Cleaning took more than 2 hours.

Noisy pump
I first went to the breaker box and turned off the power. Then turned of the water supply and removed the lower panels. I proceeded to take the electrical off and disconnect the water supply tube and disconnected the drain tube. At this time I removed the counter screws and lowered the adjustable legs so I could pull the washer from under the counter. Want it is out I laid it on its side and unplugged the power cord to the motor and removed the 3/8 inch hex head screw , so I could turn the pump 1/4 turn and removed it. To replace the new pump I first aligned the arrows on pump and motor housing and placed the pump back into the sump housing and reversed the removal process. It was just that easy . Thank for the quick shipping of the pump and motor.

Dishwasher was slowing refilling after the wash cycle was complete
Googled the problem, water fill valve seemed to be the problem. Ordered the part, slide the dishwasher out, leaned it back to expose the front bottom area, removed the old valve (dont forget to turn off the water first). Just remove the part and replace. Its that simple!
