String broke on dishwasher door.
We followed the directions on your video and it was fixed in 45 minutes. That includes pulling out the dishwasher and replacing the parts on both sides of the door. The parts were received in less than 3 days. Would recommend this company to friends and family.

Remove the 2- screws attaching the dishwasher to the base cabinets on each side. Next , slide the dish washer forward and determine if the water supply needs to be disconnected. If it does, turn off the water to the dishwasher and disconnect the supply line. Now slide the dishwsher forward to expose the balance linkage. Remove the old balances and reinstall new in reverse order. The repair kit also includes new updated rollers that are easy to install.Slide the dishwasher back, hook up the water supply and secure with the 2- installation screws. Load it up with dirty dishes

door counterbalance broke
The online video showed me all I needed to know in order to complete the repair. Ordering the parts was as easy as could be and the person whom I spoke to was helpful and friendly. The parts were sent quickly and received the next day. The actual repair was completed in 15 minutes... the hardest part was pulling out the dishwasher and once pulled, the repairs were completed quickly and easily. Saved over $150 by doing it myself. Thanks Partselect for making this an easy do it yourself repair.

One day I was emptying the dishwasher and I heard a loud snap and the door would stay up and would just drop real hard.
I ordered the part, and received it in about 2 days. Great delivery. Opened up the package and watched the video. I didn't have a nut driver, so it took me a bit longer to do with a plier. I was thrilled to have done it myself as a repair man had quoted $170 to fix it!!!! I did it myself for around $25. Made my day..............no, it really made my week. I'm an Female over 60!! Husband doesn't do any repairs. Loved the video too, it made it really easy. If I had a nutdriver it would have been done in around a half hour.

Noisy growl in the circulating pump while dishwasher was running
The PartSelect video was quite good. I viewed it before ordering to determine if I was confident that I could do the repair and reviewed it again immediately before performing the repair as a refresher. Here are a few extra items of information: (1) There was plenty of extra length in the drain hose and electrical connections, so I only needed to disconnect the hot water supply before pulling the dishwasher out from under the cabinet. (Be sure the circuit-breaker is opened and test for dead on the dishwasher electrical supply.) This simplified later re-connecting and tightening and dealing with drips. (2)When I tipped the dishwasher onto its side, a bit more water than expected drained from the sump out onto the kitchen floor. I put 2 2x4 blocks under the dishwasher side to prevent the insulation from getting wet. (3)When loosening the 3/8" retention bolt and shield, I needed to use a flexible screwdriver shaft and a nutdriver socket on the end of the flexible shaft, since a brace under the dishwasher prevented a straight-on approach. (4)The guidance on the video showing the amount of wiggling to remove the old impeller/motor was valuable, since it provided confirmation that some repetition of the twist and pull motion was needed/expected. (5)Finally, it can be helpful to carefully track which is the old motor and which is the new, since if one inadvertently places them next to each other, the only identifiable difference may be a small amount of water in the old impeller assembly. (One would hate to inadvertently re-install the old motor.) Re-assembly was easy and straightforward.

The fuse was found blown.
I found the problem when I found one of the torque screw partially out. The door was not closing properly. The heat blow the fuse. I removed the head were the control board is found and replaced it with the new kit. When you add the new fuse kit. It is needed to cut the old wire from the old fuse and adapt the new wire harness by stripping the wire . Then screw the wire tight to the adapter. And it's done. Also make sure to test the cycle of the dishwasher ,by timing it. All came out good. It's operational.
