Part leaked due to a crack. & top rack dishes not being cleaned properly
Removed the old part. It came out with no problem
due to being brittle and cracked. This part was original to my 15 1/2 year old dishwasher.

Ran hot tap water in the sink and soaked the new "Rubber Water Delivery Tube" for about 5 min. I put a little dish washing liquid on dishwasher part where tube was to be slid onto. Including the soaking time, repair took less than 5 1/2 min.

I'm very pleased by the fact that my part arrived in a little over 1 1/2 days.

The old rubber water delivery tube was cracked and leaking.
I removed the old tube. I rubbed vegetable oil on the inside of both ends. The new tube slipped on with no
problem, and that was the end of the repair.

Hose was badly cracked from old age
I removed the upper rack from the dishwasher by popping the two rack track stops out of the rack tracks. The old tube came off easily, and the new tube went on very nicely, after lubing each end with a dab of liquid dish soap. I put the rack back on its tracks , popped the track stops back in and my dishwasher was back in business.

A roller came off the bottom washer tray in the dishwasher because of broken axle
I removed the broken axle with the help of a small screwdriver and replaced it with a new one. Then I installed a new roller, which was easy because all I had to do was push it on with my fingers.

One of the easiest repairs I've ever made on anything and now I'm happy because my wife is happy!

The rubber hose running to the upper shelf discharge fan rotted out.
It was 94 degrees that day so I set the rubber hose outside in the sun to loosen it up, make it more plyable. I then mixed up some soapy water and doused the ends of the hose with the soapy water and slid the hose right onto the fittings.

There was a small hole in the hose which was not discussed in the directions. I assumed the hole should be installed on the down side to let water drain out after the dishwasher is finished. This will reduce the chance of bacteria building in the hose.

I read the installation tips before I started and picked up the soap mix and heating up the hose before installation. Can be accomplished with a hair dryer if it is not 94+ degrees outside!!!

Thanks,

Jim
