Igniter clicked but burner would not light
Once I got over my first time jitters this was easy. Lucky for me the old screws went back in just fine. The recommended 8/18 x 3/8 screws were way to small to be usable. Check the length of your existing screws if you can before purchasing the recommended ones.

The knob does not go down; it sticks up too high. Question? Maybe knob is not for position 2. Does it matter which place you put it on?

Ignitors with VERY weak sparks (2 Burners)
Should have read the partselect instructions first 1.) unplugged range 2.) unscrewed (torque screws - good thing I had some) burners - one screw was corroded into the top and snapped - will require a drill to remove and replace metal screw. 3) slid electrical wire from contact 4.) unscrewed (with phillips) Burner Electrode assembly (also corroded - took some force) replaced electrode assy and reversed steps. Works perfect.

Rubber grate pads that protect the range top had worn and were flat.
It didn't. The grate pads (PN# PS389174) were too small for the grate (W10311216) and wouldn't work. (PN# recommended by Whirlpool parts department) The pads were smaller in diameter and shorter. Yes I could have glued them in, but because of the size the pads would be flat in no time. The only thing I could order from KitchenAid was the total grate. I ordered the pads late December, they were backordered. I got them the 1st week of February. I tried getting through to Whirlpool by calling to see if there was something I could reorder, but no luck, couldn't through. Am I unhappy? Oh some, but I handle it. Its not the first time I have been rode hard and put away wet.

There is really nothing to replace a stove knob. What I was impressed with was the speed in which the knobs came to my house, the very next day from the day I ordered them.
