Start by removing all screws 3 for each burner total of 15 t-15 bit is required then proceed to remove spark igniters 5 total slight pull next step would be to slide a screwdriver under top left and right side to remove top shelf. There you will have access to the parts you need to replace. When done just reverse installation instructions to complete
Deflector oven/gas flame deflector replaced due to hole melted from glowbar igniter
Removed oven convection fan cover for more room to remove/replace lower oven bottom. Deflector is attached underneath oven bottom and you will need new self tapping sheet metal screws to replace old ones. My deflector actually had hole melted in it from glowbar igniter directly underneath it. Glowbar remains white hot until selected oven temp is reached...poorly designed.
Wall oven: light flickered or did not work in a loose poreclain socket.
Shut off power at the panel to the electric oven. Removed 2 phillips screws holding bulb unit in place in the top of teh oven chamber. One wire was so frayed it came out of the push on connector. Stripped off insulation and reinstalled onto the connector, using pliers to snug the wires down. Installed the new porcelain socket from Parts Select, replaced the unit in the top of the oven unit. Installed a new bulb, then snapped the new glass housing into place with the existing retaining wire clip. Presto: works like it's brand new. Thanks to Parts Select for the right parts, and for such quick delivery. I will use them again!
Open a HUGH box to get a smaller box that was surrounded by air bubble packing. Opened smaller box, removed the range's center rack and replaced it with the griddle.
Remove light bail, glass cover held by two nut screws. Pull socket, removed clips in back, replaced wire connectors, placed new socket in, then glass cover and bail. Wire connected in back, cover plate replaced.
Removed grill grates, gas distributors, etc. (just lift off). Used star screwdriver to remove screws (3 per burner for SML, 2 for power burner). Lift off stainless cover, which also lifts off the white sparkers I was replacing. Pull them off the wires (didn't need pliers, others said they did). Replace (make sure it is all the way on) and reverse your steps. White sparkers electrodes seemed loose when I put them back on, but tightened up when I fully secured the top back on. Make sure the wires aren't pinched underneath when you put the top back on. Recommended: If you've got one that isn't working, go ahead and replace all 3 (power burner is different) because the part is so cheap you may as well just do it now.

Got back on internet, went right to your web site, found the part that we did need, a flame spreader instead of the Deflector. called your service number, talked to a very nice person, again, told her what we did and ordered the correct part. Another great thing, we got that part the very next day. I returned the wrong part that same day. We then had our son install it and now we have a very nice working oven. Though out this very long ordeal, we talked to the applicance service people and got the same answer. The part has been ordered and it should be here next week. When we found your web site and called for the part, I called the appliance service and told them we had ordered the part ourselves and I would be happy to give her this information. THE VERY NEXT DAY she called us to tell us the part had fially arrived and they could come out the next day. Told them sorry but it as already taken care of. The very next time we need some part for any appliance we will call you first. Thank you for your very nice service people and the fast way that this all took place.
The whole process was very easy! I just got the model number and bought a new rack and silverware holder on,one. There was no assembly needed so I just popped them in and replaced the old ones! Very easy to do!
Part was purchased to replace damaged elbow. During the conversion to LP gas the elbow threads were stripped from over tightening the collar nut. To accomplish the replacement: 1. remove 2 sheet metal screws holding protective shroud in place. 2. disassemble the compression fitting CAUTION DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN 3. loosen elbow collar nut if necessary and remove elbow. 4. reassemble starting with the compression fitting. 5. connect the elbow to the broiler burner with the collar nut 6. tighten all the way down turning nut cw for LP conversion CAUTION DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN 7. with broiler on adjust flame and check for leaks
Removed the old oven bottom by removing two nuts. Be careful...don't drop the nuts! Removed the heat shield that was attached with four nuts to the old bottom and transferred it to the new oven bottom. Then placed the new bottom in the oven and secured it with the two original nuts. Easy...but don't forget about transferring the heat shield and don't lose the nuts.
