Removed old grease filter,replaced with new grease filter. No tools needed. I ordered the grease filter on Tuesday and it arrived at my door on Wed. Best experience ever ordering a part, I will definitely use Part Select again and have already recommended it to friends.
Removed two screws, unplugged the old unit, plugged in the new, screwed the new in. Job done. Would have been less than five minutes if I hadn't kept dropping the screws.
Husband got on partselect.com and read reviews, we ordered a long oven sensor kit. When it came in the mail, I took it out and look at it, decided I could probably switch the part.... and so I did. Easy Breezy ... and it worked well
I Destroyed My Grease Filter In The Dishwasher And It Just About Disintergrated.
I just had to drop the grease filter into the slot. It took less than a second. But what I am really pleased with is that it took less than a day and a half to get the part. I ordered it on thursday morning. It was shipped on thursday afternoon and in my driveway by friday noon!!! Wow!!! How great was that!!!!!! The fastest service I've every had for anything!! Unplugged the range, took off back shield (4 screws) unplugged the old part and plugged the new part in, put the shield back on and plugged the range back in. When you remove the light unit behind the lens after unplugging the two contacts slide it sideways toward you, it is slotted, don't try to pull it straight out or you will break the lens.
It was easy because the clips were already on the new door gasket. Just had to remove old door gasket and replace it with the new one. Very simple job.
