Leaking
Pulled dishwasher out of cabinet. Layed it face down on a rug. It was very simple to remove the old water inlet valve. Following the video I saw on line was a big help. I put the new valve in its place, stood up the dishwasher, turned on the water and everything was fine. Put the dishwasher back in the cabinet, there were 2 screws that fastened the dishwasher to the cabinet.Very simple.

Water leak
With dishwasher removed from cabinet, I next removed the dishwasher racks and with a large adjustable wrench turned the vent cover (located on side wall) inside the dishwasher counter-clockwise a quarter of a turn or so and removed the vent cover and then air/ water inlet unit from the outside of the machine. I cleaned the unit and washer wall area prior to replacing the gasket. Replaced the gasket in the air/water inlet vent and reassembled in reverse order. Entire gasket replacement repair took about 5 minutes or less. Most of the time in this project is spent removing and then replacing the dishwasher in the cabinet cavity. My total project time was about 30 minutes.

Stripped threads on plastic motor shaft
I watched the youtube video and followed the steps. The first time I tried it without taking the motor out because I didn't want to spill water on the floor, but I wasn't able to tighten the new motor shaft all the way so nothing lined up and it didn't work. Second time I followed instructions exactly and it worked like a charm. This is the second repair I have made to this dishwasher that was given to me for free because the door latch was broken. I fixed that problem for around $12.00. This time it broke because something metal got jammed in the motor causing the threaded shaft to strip. This repair cost around $80.00. Still the cheapest, nicest dishwasher that I could ask for. A+++ for partselect.com on price, service, and delivery. Thanks.

DW leaving dirt in bottom of glasses
The original problem that brought me to Parts select was a broken wheel on the top tray. While searching for part #s I came across several descriptions of dishes not clean . The videos available on line here were very detailed. This encouraged me to go ahead and order the parts. They arrived soon and were accurate to my order. The video on replacing the seal and chopper walked me through the entire job very clearly. Going slow and carefully keeping track of al screws I replaced the chopper, impeller and the filter. The filter did have a tear in the screening which allowed dirty water back up into the dishwasher.

Dishwasher started leaking
Pulled the dishwasher out from the counter. Wiring and supply hose were long enough that I did not need to disconnect them. Suspected a leak in the injector hose but the evidence was circumstantial. That is mineral deposits collected around the area where the house connects to a small plastic box and then into the dishwasher. I replaced the hose in a few minutes and added a clamp on the box side where no clamp was called for. So far, no leaks.

My silverware basket was busted
Time is finally taking its toll on our 9 year old Maytag dishwasher. As parts give out we replace them from Parts Select - repairs have been very simple and straightforward and have kept this workhorse plodding along in my kitchen. This year the silverware basket bottom finally gave out and I ordered one on Parts Select...unfortunately it was out of stock, at Parts Select and EVERYWHERE else. I limped along using the basket thinking I probably wouldn't be able to replace it given the age of the dishwasher. I was completely delighted when I got and email from Parts select saying the basket was in stock and would be shipped right away. It was a simple switch out! Parts Select, thanks for keeping this on order and following through when it was available!

Pivots that hold tines broken.
Take notice of the location and orientation of the broken pivots so that you can then remove the broken ones and exactly replace the new ones in the correct positions and orientation. It only requires your hands; although, a flathead screwdriver and a pair of pliers could be handy. The pivots fit snugly on the wire racks.

Dishes not getting clean
We recently purchased a new home and it didn't matter how hot we ran the water in the sink before starting the dishwasher, the dishes, especially glasses, were filthy. Extra rinse cycles, pots and pans cycle, nothing worked. After finding this site, we took the chance on what the troubleshooter recommended and bought the accumulator filter and wash impeller. The parts came so fast! We followed the videos on this site step by step and we were successfully able to replace the filter and impeller. The impeller was COATED in nasty slimy grossness; it was obvious the previous owners never rinsed their dishes before running the dishwasher. After replacing these two parts, we have clean dishes! We have switched from tablets to liquid detergent which also helped (not sure why, tablets have worked at our old house just fine).
