The washer lid will not open and my family is wondering why??
For model number FFLG3911QW1
Hi Justin,
Thank you for your question. If your washer lid will not open, the lid lock may be malfunctioning. Try unplugging the washer from the electrical outlet or turning the circuit breaker off for a few minutes and then restore power to it. With the power cut to the washer, the lid should open. If it does not, then the lid lock will need to be replaced. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!
Washer won't drain down at all, simply continues to adds more water, (tub more than half full as is), at the start of a reset of a new cycle. Shouldn't it go in to a drain check first, before initiating the new cycle? I haven't even gotten the machine into a diagnosis mode yet. I have ordered a new board, and cycle switch, as it seems that the cycles just continued to vary, before getting to this state?

Hello Joe, Thank you for the question. If the Drain pump is not draining fully or fast enough before the next cycle, we suggest removing the pump and checking the pump and hose for a blockage preventing the water from draining properly. We hope this helps!

Clothes are not drying in upper dryer unit because no heat on or being delivered to unit. Is there a air heating element to replace?
For model number FFLG3911QW1
Hi Brian, thank you for contacting us. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would recommend checking the control thermistor, part number PS1149368, as it is most likely faulty and may need to be replaced. A dryer thermistor monitors the temperature of the burner or heater housing and will shut off the heat once a sufficient temperature is reached. If the thermistor is faulty, the dryer may not heat at all. We hope this solves your problem!
The dryer spins but there is no heat. Given it's an electric dryer, does have anything to do with a gas line? Or is it limited to being either a thermostat issue, clogged vent, or heating element issue? Thanks.

Hello Tenley, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the dryer is gas dryer. We would recommend checking the thermal fuse, part number PS2349395, to fix the heating issue. We hope that helps!
