Everytime I pulled out my upper storage drawer I risked having the whole thing collapse as the rims of the drawer were broken due to old age. I ordered a part and there was a terrific "how to" installation video that showed exactly what I had to do to transfer the drawer front(still in good condition)from the broken drawer to the new one. The whole process took less that ten minutes. However, be warned: when ordering parts do not assume that the model number you first try is correct if you receive a notice that it is not available---1's and I's and zeros and O's are easily confused. I ordered the wrong-sized part the first time by using the wrong #'s/letters; replacement was quick and easy, but, naturally, I had to pay for return postage. Service from this company is great--almost next day delivery!

Turned off Refrigerator by thermostat switch in Freezer Compartment,(allowing for light to work in freezer). Then removed all food from freezer side,then all shelves & basket drawer. Next, unplugged refrigerator from electrical source. Removed back of inside of the freezer. Located the Thermostat for defrosting cooling coil. Removed and replaced with new part.(Tip-unplugged the wires for the original thermostat, remove from freezer and cut off and splice with connectors provided with new part, it's easier because you're not trying to do this in the narrow space of the freezer). Then attach the thermostat with new bracket and plug thermostat wires back in, replace back panel, shelves, plug in power supply, turn thermostat switch in Freezer to normal setting. Wait for Freezer to cool and replace food. It's currently working like new. BTW I thought I need a defrost time as well...however after I ordered that part and received it, I turned the existing defroster timer manually with a straight ended screwdriver very slowly and it cycled and the defrost rods glowed/functioned just fine. Therefore I didn't replace defrost timer. I'll save the new timer for future repair if needed. All in all it was fairly easy, and I didn't have to buy another fridge. Ordered the repair part. Removed the drawer. Removed front of drawer. Placed front on new drawer. Very simple.

Very easy repair. Remove 2 screws, unplug wire harness. My model used the included harness adapter. I needed to secure the extra harness length with the included cable ties. Icemaker went back in smoothly with no problems. Making ice like crazy now.

My husband used a putty knife like shown on the video. But he had a little trouble also. He was afraid of breaking the plastic drawers. I wish they were made heavier (stronger). Thanks for the video.

take 1/4 hex screws out clean out dust ,remove old fan blade replace with new install bolts .

we removed the food from the freezer, disconnected the fridge , removed the cover, the evaporater fan was running, condeser fan was running, then we checked heater with multimeter and it was ok. next step we replaced the frostimer, and defrost thermostat . and then the refrigarater was working ok, problm was the frost thermastat damaged.

Replacement parts fit perfectly. Simply removed the broken frame, place existing glass in new frame, and set frame in back wall mounts, then lower frame to side existing side mounts. Insert new drawer in the new frame. Worked great.

unplugged frig,removed bottom front cover and loosend 2 screws at bottom front left and slid defrost timer out from behind metal panel,unplugged the old and plugged in the new.frig works great.

Took front off and found the broken spring, got new one and replaced, now works great. Make sure to unplug as the water can come on and flood the freezer.
