The oven would not hold an even temperature.
I used a Trox bit to remove one screw, replaced the oven sensor and reinstalled the screw. The whole project took less than 5 minutes.

Oven door window
They part we received was not the right part. Called GE and ordered a new part with the same number and it worked perfectly!! Yr part was the wrong size so has to send back. Very frustrating!!!!

Temp probe was defective
Threw the old one out - plugged the new one in. Steak came out just as ordered - medium rare.

Oven meat probe broken
This item worked as described. I paid more for this 'oem' probe than the generic 1 because i didn't want to chance it not working as others have reported. - works great. tested it....snaps in, reads correctly, snaps out.

Went well.
Changed the Temperature Sensor as you suggested, but the problem of 40 minutes to reach a temperature of 375 degrees F. remained the same.

Burnt out lamp bulb
Remove oven light lens cover, remove the bulb and replace it with a new one.
