Icemaker
I received the new icemaker the next day after I had ordered it. After watching the video on how to install the icemaker I installed it within a few minutes which I really surprised myself since this was my first repair job to do by myself. The new ice maker has been working great and I am very pleased with partselect and will continue to contact you when I am in need of any parts. Thank you, betty

Ice Maker stops working..
Fast delivery...Great video instructions..The only difficulty is when I tried to take the cable out. It's kind of hard and far away from my reach. So, I took only the cable out on Ice Maker end.

Ice maker tray in side by side leaked and created large lumps of ice
Unplug refrigerator, turned off water to ice maker, unscrewed bracket, lifted ice maker off clips, pulled out water hose, disconected wiring harness and lifted out old icemaker. Reversed the process and it worked like a breeze and no service call. Space is very tight and you have to do a lot of feeling without actually seeing what you're doing and you need a small flashlight. It was so easy with diagram provided on PartSelect's website.

Stopped making ice, leaking water into freezer to kitchen floor!
Found PartsSelect on internet. Read data, watched remove/replace video, ordered new Ice Marker. Arrived in 11/2 days-quick. Both removel and install very easy; three easy to remove screws, disconnect wire harness pull it out. However, water cup on end of the new Ice Maker was faceing 90 degrees the wrong way! Had to totally disassemble both new and old Ice Makers to swap water cups. Reassemble, pray it was done correctly and install. New Ice Maker works like a champ and no leaking--Thanks PartsSelect.

Refrigerator was running very cold
Unscrewed the right control knob. Removed the left temperature control knob (there is no screw holding it), removed one screw to rear of small panel then pried open from the rear of the small panel, there are two plastic tabs in front of the small panel holding it in place. Unscrewed the failed control unit and replaced it with the new one. Replaced the small panel and screw then the left side control knob, making sure of the alignment in the "off" position as the knob has to be pressured into a clamp arrangement on the cold control thermostat. Re-screwed the right knob into place, as well.
