Your site offered a video tutorial that removed any anxiety about doing the repair correctly. Removed front of dryer, disconnected wire assembly going to the front, replaced seal in seconds, returned dryer to original set up. simple. luckily. very easy to use website.

Removed front panel and top of dryer. Pried of bearing bracket,it came of easier than I expected.Mounted the 2 white and two gray bearing strips onto the bearing bracket and reinstaled onto the front panel. When I ordered the new bearing bracket i asumed the bearing strips would come with it, to my amazement they did not. I called partselect and with the help of the representative ordered the bearings. To my pleasent surprise the parts arived the next day and I was able to complete the repairs.

The actual repair took only about 1/2 hour. I spent several hours a previous day discerning how to disassemble the dryer. Once this was solved, it was easy. The trick was that, unlike any dryer that I had seen or anything that I found on the internet, there were 2 screws that held the top to the front that are accessable from the dryer door. The top then swivels upward allowing access to 2 screws that connect the front to the sides. The front bottom can then be lifted from a pair of pegs that hold the bottom of the front in place. Removing the plastic in the front was also a bit difficult as I didn't want to put too much pressure and break it but at some point it simply popped out. Reassembly was simply the reverse.

Dryer would turn on when you pushed the "on" button, but as soon as you let go, it would turn off. Found the plastic door switch cracked (from slamming door closed). Unplugged the dryer. Unscrewed the two screws inside the top of the door to unfasten the top panel. Took the top panel off. Then unscrewed the two screws on the side to unlatch the front panel. Used plyers to take the 3 wires off the switch and slid the switch through the front of the door. Juat remember where the wires go. Then inserted new switch and connected the wires. Vacuumed out the dryer and reassembled. It took about 20 minutes and was easy! If I can do it, you can!!!

It took a while to diagnose the problem. I finally figured out it was the door switch by pushing it with my finger with the dryer door open and starting the dryer. It would run like that, but the switch was not being pressed in enough by the door. I ordered the switch and I should have been able to replace in about 15 min. But the old switch broke while I was removing it and it fell back inside the unit. So I had to remove the top and the front panel to access the door switch. That's why it took so long. If that had not happened it would have been a much simpler repair.

Wife was out of town, visiting family. I broke the door strike by wedging the dryer door between the laundry room door, closed the laundry room door and it snapped the door strike breaking it. I ordered the part, and it shipped fast using the standard shipping, nothing fancy. Grabbed a pair of pliers and pushed the new door strike into place. It snapped right in, fits and works perfect like nothing ever happened. The wife will never know :)

I watched video supplied from parts select, only took about 30 minutes, hardest part was putting belt back on, couldn't fit hands in easily, but once I did it, dryer is like new, can't hear a thing.
