Ice Maker Leaked / Quit Working
I watched the repair video on PartSelect.com which made the repair very simple. I just removed one nut with a 1/4" nut driver, detached the unit from the clips mounted on the side of the freezer compartment and disconnected the wiring harness. Once the unit was removed I disconnected the wiring harness and the bail from the old unit and installed them onto the new ice maker. It took a couple of tries to snap the new unit into the clips on the side of the freezer compartment but after this was accomplished I connected the wiring harness and installed the mounting screw. Then I place the bail in the on position (down) and about an hour later I had ice.

the little tab that acts as a hinge to the pantry lid broke off, on the left side
I took out the pantry drawer, the drawer slide on the left side (2 screws), then the broken pantry end cap (three screws). Just to be sure I pulled out both crisper drawers so as not to damage those in the process. The new part matched up perfectly and all went back into place easily. I would recommend that anybody can do this repair. Easy squeezy!!

Ice maker simply stopped making ice
Watched a quick tutorial by Virtual Repairman and determined that my Ice Maker Control and Motor Assembly was most likely the root cause, as a matter of fact it was listed as the problem 63% of the time. I removed the Ice Maker as instructed , pulled the motor free and sure enough, I immediatley saw that the motor had shorted out. I ordered the assembly suggested for this model and when it arrived, (correct I might add)I immediatley installed it. Bled the system and within an hour or so the unit was making ice again.I have to admit though, I had my doubt's about the part showing up correctly, but they did. To sum it all up, when I need an appliance or electronic part, this is the first place I'm going to look.

The large, sliding drawer, mid-fridge, had a broken part
Actually, my daughter---who is much more mechanically-minded than I---did it. We had to borrow the socket set from a friend. It was relatively simple to do. Of course, the 'fix' led to needing to clean the 'fridge, so that really took the most effort!

Important to note here: THE QUICK RESPONSE OF PARTSELECT IN GETTING THE PARTS TO ME QUICKLY WAS AMAZING!!!

Cubes not pushing out during harvest mode
I first determined it was the motor and not the electronics which had failed a couple years ago. I watched the video posted on your site on how to do the repair, so didn't have to make the mistake of calling a repair person so they could take two weeks to do it, and charge four times what it cost me to do it myself. The part arrived in only two days from my order. The hardest part for me was waiting for the ice to thaw that had frozen the unit to the side of the freezer. Once out, it took all of 10 minutes to remove the three screws holding in the motor, and put the new one in. As soon as I hooked it back up, and turned on the water supply and power, it filled with water and in less than an hour, was harvesting ice again. Your site is a Godsend. I felt really good about myself after this was done... as did my wife!

A common one, apparently. Right end cap broke off pantry drawer.
This was easy because I looked at other repair stories. What nobody mentioned is don't be afraid to swing the temperature control slider around after you get all the screws out. It just sort of hooks into a notch in the back of the cabinet. Pull the whole "L" toward you on a 90 degree swing and it will slip out. Then you can take it out and jiggle the rest of the parts to exchange them Also, if you have the screwdriver with the interchangeable tips you also have the nut driver you need. I was disappointed because I thought I would surprise my husband by doing it myself but didn't have a nut driver. Then I thought of the holder for the screwdriver tips and it was a perfect fit! Surprise.

Ice maker leaked and didn't always make ice.
With a phillips head driver, I loosened all the screws on the left side tray support, and completely took out the the second screw. I removed the screw because it is the lower support for the ice maker. I used a flat end screw driver and loosened the top two screws on the top of the ice maker. You don't need to remove them comletely. The unit just slides up and out. Just reverse the steps to install. It took me under ten minutes.

Icemaker was slow to make ice and flooded bin
Removed 1 lower screw with nut driver, pushed up and away from inner panel, unplugged harness and it was ready to come out. Reused old wiring harness and end cap. Reinstalled icemaker, it took about 24 hours to start making ice(to fill bin) and now everything works like its supposed to.

Icemaker quit dumping ice into bucket
This is an easy repair that anyone can do. It is just three screws. Removed the front cover to the motor assembly. Located and removed the three screws, disconnected the arm, pulled out the control and motor assembly. To install, pushed new part into place, lined up the arm and pushed into slot. Installed three screws and front cover. That's it.
