7DU920PWKQ0 Whirlpool Dishwasher - Instructions

I replaced the seal, still leaked. Once I noticed that it was only leaking from the left side, we did a Google search to find that the screen in the upper left of the door could be the issue, causing back pressure. Once the screen was cleaned, no more leaks.

Used the diagram and disassembled and reassembled.Used most parts that were in kit as it also fit other models and did not need all the parts.

The dishwasher was making grinding noises and then stopped draining at all. I was able to follow the video directions and replace the parts from the drain and wash impeller kit, but it did not solve the problem. Must be the pump or something else. Was worth a try and partselect.com was good with service and price.

It was easy and was the part we needed.

Unscrewed the old one and replaced it with the new one. My wife actually ordered this Pat and repaired the dishwasher.

Took inside door panel off. replaced spring that opens soap dispenser lid during cycle. Put inside panel back on. Works fine now.

After emptying the dishwasher the bottom had no water in it. A few hours later there was water in bottom. This told me the inlet valve was leaking. I took the bottom kick plate panels off. Directly in front on left side was the water inlet valve. Remove mounting screw, disconnect electrical connection, the water feed and discharge hose and remove valve. Install new valve. 100% DONE! Reinstall front panels after checking for leaks. At 71 years of age my typical 20 minute job actually took less time.

I watched the video, which was very good, and did the repair. It took about 10 minutes. Most of that was watching the video. EXCELLENT VIDEO!

Just followed the online instructions. I used white vinegar to clean any residue first. So easy.

Replaced the lower rack. The replacement part had the wheels attached. No assembly required.

removed the 2 water deflector and slipped the new ones in , in place.. very easy to do but it didn't seem to stop the leak so ordered the door gasket

1. Turn off the electrical switch that powers the dishwasher. 2. Open the door of the dishwasher and find the two phillips head screws that secure the top of the dishwasher to the kitchen counter. 3. Remove the screws. 4. Gently move the machine side-by-side a bit while pulling it out onto the kitchen tile (be careful, the water-supply hose, electric cord, and dishwasher drain hose may not be long enough to allow you to pull it out very far - don't break or kink the hoses). 5. Remove (pull off) the black plastic fastener located on the bottom/rear of each side of the dishwasher. 6. Remove the old surround. 7. Lay the new wrap in place and secure with the two plastic fasteners. 8. Push back into place, secure the two screws, check your hoses.

Dishwasher Stopped then only made a humming noise. Started with the Video on your site and it was quite helpful. I had trouble holding the drain impeller with the wrench. Used a drill to bore holes around the center and then broke the outer ring off to get a good hold on the center. Then was able to remove the bolt. The rest of the repair was easy. Something had caught the chopper blade and unraveled the spring. Replaced all the parts and it is working fine now.

Ordered the drain and wash impeller/chopper kit, which I received in 2 days. Great service. I watched the video on how to install the parts and the video was very clear and made the job seem easy. And it was easy, except for getting the impeller screw out. The impeller top was very brittle and pieces kept breaking off when trying to hold it with the adjustable wrench. Robo Grips didn't work any better. The only thing that finally got that screw out was a long handled socket wrench with an extension. You need the extra leverage if the screw is really stuck. Also note that the balls are definitely in the wrong place in the video. You need to remove them when doing the repair, then drop them back into the hole in the gasket/seal cover for the impeller after it is replaced. They will sit side-by-side if installed correctly. Turns out that the crunching/grinding noise was the chopper trying to chop up one of the clips that holds the silverware basket on the bottom rack. It was in many small pieces and had ripped up and split the impeller shaft.The dishwasher is back together and running perfectly.
