Refrigerator Door would not close on its own
Set out an area large enough to lay the door down once I took it off the refrigerator. Took off the top screws and hinge. Had my 12 year old so help me with the door and hand me all the tools so I could quickly change out the parts and not leave the Refrigerator open for too long. I think from the moment we took the door off to the moment it was back on was probably about 5-6 minutes tops. That is how easy this was. All the parts fit and thank you to PartSelect and it great website that advised me of the second part that went with the first if not I would never have known. Thanks again!!

Light switch in the refrigerator was faulty from the first day we installed the fridge.
I had ordered some other parts for something entirely different off your website and service was great. So after almost ten years of a dark refrigerator, because of a defective switch, I decided to see if you had the part to fix it... You did and the part got here in 3 days. I had a working light switch and all the light in the world where my husband needed it most (in the fridge). It took me at the most ten minutes to replace the part. All is well now and I have a happy husband who can find the leftovers just fine. Thanks for your great service!

The refrigerator would not defrost and would freeze up and no longer cool.
Turn off power to the frig. Remove the shelves and back brackets from the freezer, then with a 1/4" nut driver remove the nuts holding the rear metal panel in place. Once removed the defrost thermostat is right in front of you. You will have to clip the wires from the old t-stat because they are in a harness. Once clipped, strip the wires back, wire in the new t-stat, add wire nuts and put it all back together. Very easy job to do, works great. Thanks Parts Select, Mike.

Refrigerator door would not close properly
I removed the upper hinge cover and then the the hinge itself. Then lifted the door off the lower hinge peg. I placed a blanket on my pool table and positioned the door on it. The bottom screws were a little difficult to get the nutdriver seated so I used a quarter inch drive with socket to remove the screws. The replacement Closing Cam was quickly inserted and reassembled the hinge and lubricated with vaseline. Next I removed the Door Cam that was still on the peg on the refrigerator (it was completely worn flat). Quick work for this too. I tried to set the door back on the pivot hinge but eventually I needed another person to guide the door onto the peg. Reassembled the top hinge and voila, the door works just like new.

The door would not close completely
First, removed the top hinge (3 screws), then lifted the door off the bottom hinge. Replaced the Cam on the bottom of the door and then the Cam on the bottom hinge (one screw for each). Placed the door back on the bottom hinge, reinsert the top hinge into the door and secure top hinge to the refrig with the 3 screws original removed. EASY!!

Very loud clicking noise when opening/closing door
I did it a bit different from instructions mainly because I disassembled it to troubleshoot before going on line to find part and "easier" instructions.I had a 5" block of wood and cut a shim to use with that to hold the door up. I got on my hands and knees with a mirror and removed the lower hinge plate then the screws holding the upper and lower cams. These both were quite worn so I just took them to my shop and with a hand grinder I rounded off the sharpo corners of the cogs of both cams and then reassemble the hinge plate and cams. This eliminated the loud clicking and the door closed easily but I was afraid it woulod not "Auto Close" when needed so I went online to find this page with the parts needed along with wonderful instructions. I ordered both upper and lower cams which came 2 days later (THANKS). I installed them my way since I did not want to empty the door contents and remove the whole door. I used the block, mirror and nut driver to R&R the bottom hinge plate and both cams. Time was still less than 15 minutes, Easy Fix, Thanks guys! Cheers, Ben

Light switch which turns on the lights when the door opens went out
This is an easy fix, simply remove and replace. What I was impressed with is that a how to video was provided along with my part. I wish all manufactures would offer this, the video was easy to understand and you had a good view of the operation. Thanks, a job well done.
