Dryer drum stopped turning.
Had my wife call the repair man. Since it was Saturday afternoon, no luck. YouTube help me diagnose the problem. I found that the drum belt slipped off the idler pulley assembly and the assembly was laying on the floor. I noticed that the belt was frayed and was probably stretched out which may be why the belt slipped off in the first place. I glued the frayed pieces of the belt back with gorilla glue and clamps. You Tube helped me mount the idler pulley assembly and string the belt correctly. I then ordered the replacement parts through your website. The parts came to my home in a few days and I will fix the dryer properly when I get a chance.

Broken Drive Belt.
The instruction sheet that comes with the parts is excellent. Follow it and all goes well. Be patient and stay away from the sharp sheet metal edges present in all such appliances !!

need to replace the coils
Removed 2 screws at the lint filter, unplugged dryer, next I popped the top off with a standard screw driver lifted the top all the way up and secured it from falling back down, used a 5/16" nut driver to remove the top 2 screws holding the face on, disconnected the door switch, pulled the face panel off and set it aside, then I removed the tension pulley on the bottom and took the drum out, unscrewed 2 screws holding the coils removed the old coils and installed the new reconnected the leads to them, vacuumed out the cabinet and motor, inspected all moving parts for wear, including the belt, reinstalled every thing in reverse order, had job complete and ready for clothes in 9 mins, it helps to have your son/daughter hold the drum against the back wall while reconnecting the tensioner and belt.

I have a Maytag gas dryer, it runs but it dud'nt get hot....
First I opened the back panel & check the fuse with multi meter tool ( put in ohms & set it in 200K) & the fuse is Ok, try to run the dryer while looking in the flame dock & the burner starts & had a fire till about 2-3 mins. & flame comes off, what I did is I open the front door to access into the gas burner, check gas valve coils with multi meter tool for continuity & found out that one of the coil doesn't have continuity. I ordered a pair of coil that is located on top of the gas valve on this site & unexpectedly it came in the next day, WOW! that's a fast delivery I was very pleased w/ the service, come home from work & installed it right away & it took me 5-10 mins. Put back everything & try to run it & it works properly. So happy with & my wife as we'll, thanks for the great fast delivery.

Dryer initially had heat but stopped before clothes were dry
I checked all the thermostats and fuses for continuity based on the repair instructions and initially replaced just the thermostat (it was listed as the most likely to stop heat delivery). When that did not work I took a broad approach and replaced both the thermal fuse and the coils/solenoids. It think the problem was with the coils.

Took too long to dry
Watched the video and followed the directions. It was pretty easy, but, I ended up having to call the repairman anyway. After the heating element was put on we put the cycling thermostat on. I didn't know it, but I put some wires on upside down. I bought a heating element, a cycling thermostat, thermal fuse, and a thermal cut off kit. All that, and I still had to pay a repairman. If you're good with wires, or have some knowledge of appliances this is an easy fix.
