Dryer not producing heat.
Removed the eight 1/4" screws securing the back panel of the dryer, removed the electrical connections, and the two screws holding the heating element. Swapped the plastic switch to the new element, and reassembled. The repair took less than ten minutes and the dryer works perfectly.

Clothes dryer would not turn on/would not run
Queried the Internet for my model number of dryer. Found Part Select web site. Went to the site and entered my model number again. Found a list of common problems and my particular dryer problem was listed. Only two possibilities - thermal fuse or timer. Studied the diagnostic criteria for thermal fuse and that seemed to fit my situation. Watched the video of how to replace the thermal fuse. After watching the video, I was convinced I could fix the dryer. Ordered the thermal fuse and it arrived in about 2 days. Followed the instructions previously viewed on the video and replaced the thermal fuse. Success!! Mission accomplished!! I felt great that I had done this by myself with help from Part Select. A service call from a repair establishment would have cost about $130.00. I fixed my dryer for about $9.00 plus shipping cost of about $7.00. And I didn't have to wait for two weeks for a repairman to show up and occupy my whole day. I forwarded the Part Select link to all of my friends and relatives and told them to use Part Select for their repair needs. Awesome web page and service! Use them!

Drum turning, but no heat
I first pulled the drum and turned on the dryer. The igniter never turned on. So I unplugged the dryer from the outlet and measured the resistance of the igniter, which was ok. I pulled the back panel and checked the thermal fuse, which was open. I also pulled the lint system plenum off of the unit, which was clogged with lint. This probably caused the thermal fuse to overheat. I cleaned out the lint collection system, replaced the thermal fuse and re-installed the drum. dryer is now working fine.

Dryer had no heat.
Took off the back panel removed old wires. Piggybacked new wire and put back together. The video was very helpful as far as where exactly to insert the new wire. Overall a very good experience. When it first happened my husband and I thought we would need a new dryer. We found your website and figured out what the problem most likely was. Ordeed the part it came within a few days. The money we saved not having to get a new dryer is great.

drum turned, no heat
Dryer started to turn but stopped putting out heat. I used a multimeter, and found both high limit switches to be good, and all other electrical components good. I removed the heating element and examined it to notice that the first coil was broken. I ordered the new part and replaced it, and all is well, better than before.

Dryer keeps running without drying clothes
The first thing I did was unplug dryer from outlet. Watched installation video (very hepfull), the back was removed and dryer unpluged because I had replaced Thermal Cut-Off Kit, High Limit Thermostst and Cycling Thermostst ordered two days earlier. Forgetful as I am I did not check Heating Element with ohm meater, It was bad, ordered new one. It arrived as promised and was correct part. Removed two screws holding heating element in place. Removed four wires one at a time, placing them in correct place on new element. Replaced element and two screws. Job complete. Pluged it in and dryer is working like a new one.
