ice maker quit making ice
I looked on line to see repair instruction videos on my refrigerator ice maker. When I saw how easy I went to PartSelect and order the part (control and motor assembly). I received the part in two days with the cheapest shipping option. My 33 yr old son was visiting when the delivery was made. After we opened the box, he went to the basement for tools and the rest is history. 10 minutes work and ice a couple of hours later! No problems since.

Condenser Fan Motor had stopped working
I found the part I needed on this website, watched the tutorial and saw how simple it was to do myself. I ordered the part and it arrived within a few short days. It took me no more than 15 minutes to change out the part. I saved myself several hundred dollars. It is rather shocking how much the "professionals" charge considering the cost of parts, labor and nominal service fees.

refrigerator not cold. and keeps striping the circuit breaker and shutting off other appliances using the same circuit.
what I discovered is the condenser fan is still operating but not strong another word insufficient cooling for the condenser. therefore, it's getting too hot and shutting off and stripped the circuit breaker. After installing the new condenser fan, it gets back in business. it's quite simple. Just unplug the unit off, uncover the bottom back cover and there you see compressor, condenser fan and other good stuff. there you unscrew the nut in front of the condenser fan and remove the fan, then it expose the two screws that holding the fan motor, remove these screws and take out the motor. and just install the new fan motor kit in and there you have it. plug it back to the wall and there it goes

Broken nozzle on water dispenser
Easy repair once you figure out how the door is assembled. Note there are two replacement parts supplied in the kit. You only need one, but.... don't throw anything away yet, we have a special use for the extra part. 1) Pull the surround to reveal the mounting point for the dispenser. There is an inner panel that has a couple screws that needs to come out. 2) Disconnect the switch plate from the harness. Ensure you have the wire colors written down. My fridge had them marked on the switch, but be sure to check first. 3) Disconnect the water line under the door. Instructions show a threaded coupling, but mine was a press fit. Easy to undo, just put pressure on the collar at the union, then pull the tube out. 4) Remember the extra tube in the kit? This is where to use it. The tube in the door follows a channel down to the door hinge. However, it sometimes hangs up on the hinge ferrel, which means you have to pull the door to fish it out. To avoid having to pull the door, use the extra tube as a "fish tape." String or twine works just as well. Tape (duct tape, electrical tape, etc.) the end of the old tube to the extra tub supplied in the kit. You can tell which one by comparing the nozzle ends, they are different. You want this tape joint to be smooth without a big bulge. 5) Remove the screw holding the old nozzle and gently pull the old nozzle and tube from the door. 6) Disconnect the old tube from the extra tube, then connect the new replacement tube to the extra tube. 7) Carefully draw the new tube into the door. 8) Disconnect the extra tube from the new tube and reconnect the new tube to the water line. 9)Mount the nozzle, re-install the inner panel, re-connect the switch assembly, then reassemble the surround.

Broken crisper drawer
Took old drawer out, put new drawer in. When I first opened the new drawer I was a little disappointed as the printing on the edge of the crisper (where it says humidity low-high) was a different color than my existing drawer, I know it's such a small detail that nobody would notice but me. My fridge is almost brand new and I'm the one who broke the drawer so I was a little sad but then realized that I could remove the edge of the drawer and replace it with my old one... VIOLA brand new drawer with purple letters! The drawer itself came so fast, I believe it was 1-2 days to my door! Thank you Part Select

The Ice Cube Maker Tray Would Not Refill With Water
Ps328747 icemaker and water dispenser dual inlet valve was purchased from parts select. My wife, sandy, watched install video provided by parts select on their website. Sandy used plywood to protect our hard wood floor. She pulled out the refrigerator (she did need my help to do this task). Unplugged the refrigerator. I turned off water line in the basement. Sandy followed the video to the tee. Fifteen minutes later the part was installed. The ice maker tray was quickly filled with water. Ice cubes quickly were made. My wife is uniquely talented. Last winter, she remodeled two bathrooms in our naples home replacing all the fixtures, vanities, flooring, etc. My wife can do almost any task. Many years ago, I had a leaking radiator and a broken arm at the same time. What did she do--she removed the radiator from the car, took it the repair, and reinstalled the repaired radiator. Sandy plays tennis, golf, brige, hikes, sings in the church choir, works at theater as a red coat, and at 62 years of age, she tackled another item on her bucket list in january 2012. Sandy's first recital is saturday--she is quiet an accomplished pianist already. I could relate many other stories about her but the most important one is that this beautiful woman has been wife for 43 years and the mother of our two beautiful daughters, jessica and holly.
