As usual the service from PartSelect was spot on and the part was delivered in a very timely fashion. The website is easy to navigate and I always get the correct part...........BUT how in the world can the price of a $5.00 Zinc Die Cast Knob for a light on a stove fan cost $75.00?, That is the most price gouging item I have ever been forced to purchase. ( now I know what the purchasers of the EPI pen feel like) I know it is a GE product (none of which I will EVER purchase again) but there is no rhyme or reason for this type of gouging.

I have GE monogram hood. Model number is zv36ssfss. I have the knobs. However, when i turn them, they don't engage the piece underneath that does the actual turning. So the knobs just spin without doing anything. Do i have to buy new knobs, or is there something i can buy to insert inside the knobs so that they engage the piece underneath. Thx

Hi Jacob, Thank you for the question, The hold in the back of the knob have a D shaped clip that grips the shaft that comes off the switch.The clip is not sold separately so the knob will need to be replaced. Hope this helps!
