This light bulb is a 12 Volt/20 Watt bi-pin base halogen lightbulb, meaning it emits a bright, white light which is similar to natural daylight and is inserted into its socket, as opposed to being rotated in. This bulb specifically is designed for use and compatible within various makes and models of home appliances, such as refrigerators, microwaves and ranges, and is sold individually. This halogen bulb can last up to 2000 hours and will begin to emit a yellow-ish tint or diminished brightness as it ages and deteriorates.

Perfect replacement
This was the correct replacement that was sent in exchange for the wrong one sent previously. Placed in in the retainer and now have a two-filament night light once again. Great company. Glad to have discovered you folks.

Microwave light bulb
Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size light bulb. Will needed to better identify the part actually needed to fit properly.
I still give a 5 star rating based on prior experience and I did order the wrong part that was sent on a timely basis.

Bad packaging
When I opened the box the bulb fell out of the plastic bag it was in and broke. Either seal the plastic bag or don't put it in one!

Halogen bulb beneath microwave lighting the stovetop burned out after 9 mo.
Unscrewed the light cover beneath the microwave with a phillips head screwdriver. The bulb is very tiny and has 2 straight parallel prongs that slide into 2 small holes. Grab bulb from both sides with each hand firmly and slide STRAIGHT out (no twisting or pushing). Don't worry about breaking even though it may take a fair amount of pr

burned out light surface light bulb
the main issue I had is the appliance manual stating that the bulb should be "unscrewed". when I first read the manual, before I received the bulb on delivery, I tried "unscrewing" the bulb, which actually is a PLUG IN bulb. small wonder that it didn't come out! luckily I didn't break the connections off in the socket!

I am wondering if the lens for the range hood is available as mine is broken. I see that the assembly is available but $100 for the just the glass is steep. If not available i'll just operate it without the lens.

Is this the 4mm or 8mm pin? I’ve read that they started using a different type bulb but it has the same part number. I bought a “replacement” bulb but the pins were too far apart.
For model number WB01X10239
Hello Christopher, Thank you for contacting us. I do apologize but we do not have dimensions on this part. I suggest contacting the manufacturer directly. Or, if you would like you can submit a follow up providing the model number so we can advise the correct part number. Good luck with your repair!

Hi. I was looking for a replacement for my range hood light bulbs. I was looking for 20watt 120volt T3 bulbs. I assumed that since the range hood operates on 120volt current these bulbs should be 120volt also. But I see the bulb you recommended is for 12 volt. I’m confused. Won’t installing a 12 volt bulb in a 120 volt circuit destroy it?
For model number JV966D3SS
Hello Mark, thank you for writing. The Correct bulb is Halogen Bulb PS951718 - 20W - 12V not 20watt 120volt T3. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you.
