How to remove old impeller?
For model number tb4hbec
Hello Maurice, thank you for your inquiry. We have found some relevant instructions for removing the impeller. They may not be of the exact same model, but they will help you with the process. You may follow the following steps:
1. Remove the blower tube from the blower with a screwdriver and then pull it straight out.
2. Next, remove half of the impeller housing by removing the screws.
3. To remove the bolt from the impeller, first remove the spark plug, then take a piece of starter rope and insert it into the cylinder. The starter rope will bind up between the piston and the top of the cylinder and make it so that the crankshaft can no longer rotate.
4. Now unthread the bolt and remove the impeller.
We hope this information helps!
