Looking for the correct way to attach the drive cable to the lever-like mechanism where it goes into the back of the machine. Mine broke or fell off and I am temporarily using a machine screw and lock nut to attach the eye at the end of the cable to the lever.
For model number 932036
Hi Doug,
Glad to hear from you. Before replacing the traction cable, remove the key from the engine. Then to replace the traction cable, you will need to remove the cotter pin and the washer from the clutch handle to release the cable. Then unhook the cable spring from the cable ring and set it aside. Then install the new cable by hooking the spring to the cable ring and then align the opposite end of the spring with the clutch handle and secure it with the washer and the cotter pin. We hope this helps with the repair!
