We removed seat for transport and now can’t figure out which way the bracket is supposed to be installed with the inner spring switch and outer spring switch. Ugh. Is the metal tab on the safety bracket supposed to go inside the inner spring or between he two springs? I’ve looked everywhere and can’t figure it out....and the grass is getting long! :) thanks for taking the time to help this silly girl!

Hi Linda,
Thank you for your question. Taking a look at your diagram for your seat there, it looks like the little tab on the left side bracket is supposed to be on the outside. So if you're standing behind the lawn mower, the tab should be sticking out on the left side. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair!
