What type of oil do i use to service this model? How many quarts does it hold?
thanks ??
For model number 543275-0111-E1
Hi Thomas,
Thank you for your question. According to the Briggs and Stratton website, the type of oil you use will depend on the conditions that you are working in. SAE 30 should be used on small engines in warm temperatures. SAE 10W-30 can be used in varying temperature ranges and it improves cold weather starting. Synthetic SAE 5W-30 is used for all temperatures and improves starting with less oil consumption. SAE 5W-30 is used for very cold temperatures. Vanguard 15W-50 is used for varying temperatures and is used for commercial lawn cutting and pressure washing. For a walk-behind mower the oil capacity is usually 15 or 18 ounces (0.117188 to 0.140625 gallons) and should be changed every 50 hours. For riding mowers the oil capacity is usually 48 or 64 ounces (0.375 to 0.5 gallons) and should be changed every 100 hours. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!
