Impeller-Plastic Specifications

This is an impeller designed for use with various makes and models of handheld leaf blower and vacuums, and is made of durable plastic. This impeller measures approximately 5-inches in diameter and is connected to the crankshaft and is rotated to create airflow within the unit. If your leaf blower has poor performance or produces excessive vibrations, check whether the impeller is damaged, warped or cracked. To replace this impeller, you will need a screwdriver and/or wrench to access its housing, but the securing hex nut for it is not included and this part is sold individually.

Could see the impeller was damaged - blades missing.
Safety First
Note: Ensure the appliance is unplug prior to working on it.

1) Removed the plate at the bottom giving access to the impeller nut
2) Removed the nut with the channel lock pliers by holding the impeller
with one hand and loosing the nut with the other.
3) Removed the old impeller and washer- impeller.
4) Install the new washer-impeller and impeller.
5) Install the new impeller nut and tighten firmly - again holding the
impeller with one hand and tighting with the channel lock pliers.
6) Install the plate at the bottom that gave you access to the impeller
nut.
7) Plug appliance in and turn selector switch to "on" position.
Note: Listen to make sure there is no erratic noises or wining coming
from the motor. If there is none, you are good to go.
