I am changing the control board because the fridge is stuck on express thaw and both the freezer and fridge are room temp. I hear the fan but not anything else, can it be just the board or the inverter and how to test the inverter. I will check the power to the inverter. Can just the control board cause this problem?

Hi James, Thank you for the question. To determine the issue you will want to check voltage at the inverter to ensure that you are getting 120 vac to the inverter. If not then the issue would be with the main control board. If there is 120 vac then the inverter board is faulty. Hope this helps!
