The water coming into the ice maker seems to also go into the freezer. The ice maker produces ice but I have frozen water and icicles on the racks. Will this replacement tray help guide the water into the ice maker and not everywhere else?

Thank you for your question. If water from the ice maker is leaking into the freezer, you will need to check to see if the ice maker is overfilling. At times, the water inlet valve, part number PS1483564, may malfunction and allow more water to fill the ice maker and cause it to overflow. I have water in the bottom floor of the freezer section under the bottom rack that freezes up, i believe it is coming from the icemaker, what do you suspect it may be.

Hello Hector, Thank you for the question. I woudl check to see if the ice maker is overfilling. At times the inlet valve, PartSelect Number: PS1483564 can become stuck open and allow to much water through to fill the ice maker and causing it to overflow. You can also check the Ice Maker, PartSelect Number: PS1993870 for any cracks or damage that woudl cause a leak. Hope this helps!
