Having an issue with my GE dishwasher not drying the dishes. Replaced the heating element still the same. I hear the vent can cause this as well is this True? If so what part of the vent should I replace?
For model number GDT550HGD0WW
Hi Clark, Thank you for the question. Water entering the dishwasher should be between 120 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit for best dry performance. Run the faucet closest to the dishwasher prior to starting the dishwasher to drain cold water from the hot water line. You should also be checking to make sure the rinse aid is dispensing. You can check the vent filter to make sure it is clean and not clogged. Hope this helps!
