The freezer to this Thermador refrigerator has stopped working but the refrigerator is working fine its a french door style two people have told me its the power module what does the power module do control
For model number T36IT70NNP
Hello Jean, Thank you for your inquiry. The power module is the main control board for the refrigerator. It controls the major components such as the compressor and fans and reads the information it receives from the different components to keep the fridge and freezer working. If your freezer has stopped working, we would recommend testing the cooling components such as the evaporator fan, sensors, defrost heater and thermal fuse. You can test the parts with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, there are YouTube videos available to assist you. Hope this helps!
