At power turn-on the dishwasher would start in immediately in the Power Scrub mode and could not be changed or stopped.
I just removed the lower panel according to the manual, but the easier way is to remove the upper control unit by lifting upward. The difficulty with removing the lower panel is that the heavy-duty plastic pieces at the door hinge area are prone to falling out while trying to reattach the heavy lower panel. Replacing the control unit wa

My dishwasher starts at the 13 min point for every cycle selected. It runs down to 1 min and remains. I does not go through the normal cleaning cycles. I assume that the control board is the problem. Is that a reasonable thought?
For model number SHU5315UC/11
Hi Bob,
Thank you for your question. If the cycles on the washing machine are not running their full cycle, then you will need to check the main control board, the control panel and the wiring between them to see which part is causing the issue. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Shorted a wire while replacing water inlet valve. Dishwasher will not come on. Any fix for it? Thank you
For model number SHV4303uc/u11
Hello Michael, Thank you for the question. When the wire shorted it may have damaged the control board, PartSelect Number PS8717918. We looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued sorry. There are no part substitutions listed. Our suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers and contact us back with he updated substitution number. We hope this helps!
Three of the buttons stopped working. They will not spring back. Does not feel like a button anymore. Is that the control board that springs it back or does the button face have the spring?
For model number SHU5312UC/06
Hi Serge,
Thank you for your question. The part that allows the buttons to spring back is part of the housing of the main control board. The housing is sold separately and the part number for it is PS8702019. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Will this part solve the problem of continuous run-on? Even the rinse and hold runs past the countdown number on the screen
For model number SHU5312UC-06
Hi Mike, Thank you for the question. Yes the Main Control Board has the timer build it and should fix the problem of the cycles running over or too long. Good luck with the repair!

Hi Mealik, thank you for your inquiry. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend checking the control unit, part number PS8735922, as it is the most likely cause of this issue. We are providing you with some general instructions that might help you replace this part:
1) First, unplug the dishwasher.
2) Disconnect the water lines in the back of the dishwasher and take it out of the cabinet.
3) Remove the base panel and disconnect the water line from the front.
4) Now, lay the dishwasher on its left side, remove the insulation and replace the faulty control unit.
Glad to be of help!
