Hello! The microwave works fine unless we use it too much and you can hear a relay click and it will still run but it's definitely not heating. We shut it off and wait for the click and then it's good to go again. Could you tell me what part I need to replace please is it the magnetron thermostat or? Thank you!

How do I test the magnetron?

Hi Brian, Thank you for asking. The magnetron can be tested with an multi meter set on the highest scale. Across the terminals, you should read 0 ohms (or .5 ohms). Test both terminals to ground with one lead and make sure it is not shorted. We hope this helps with the repair!

You will also need to check the thermal fuse, part number PS1960938, to see if it's working properly. We hope this information helps.
